Dr. Brian Rast is a graduate of Pacific University, College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon, and has practiced at First Eye Care in Plano, Texas since his graduation in 1994. He also works part-time at our satellite location, First Eye Care of McKinney. As a student, and in private practice optometry he has specialized in sports vision and contact lenses.
He enjoys working with local sports teams and athletes from little league all the way up to the professionals. He is also active in contact lens research and development with several contact lens companies.
Dr. Rast is currently a Board Trustee for the Texas Optometric Association. He loves spending time with his family, playing and watching sports, and the great outdoors.
Dr. Kelly graduated in 1994 from the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He joined First Eye Care in the summer of 1998 after graduating from Pacific University College of Optometry where he was awarded membership in the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society.
Dr. Kelly focuses his efforts toward primary care optometry, the treatment of eye diseases, contact lenses, and was among the first optometrists in Texas to become fully licensed in the diagnosing and treatment of glaucoma. Dr. Kelly has participated in research for contact lens companies, pharmaceutical companies, and contact lens solution companies.
Dr. Clark graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science and then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating with honors in 2001.
Dr. Clark spent time at UT Medical School’s Hermann Hospital completing a retina externship and from there went on to study at a private optometric practice. She joined the First Eye Care team in 2001 as a Therapeutic Optometrist and is licensed in the State of Texas to diagnose and treat ocular disease. In addition, she earned the certification of Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Dr. Clark is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association.
Dr. Anderson grew up in Salt Lake City, UT and attended Brigham Young University where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science. He then moved to Southern California to attend Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Anderson interned at the Salt Lake Veterans Affairs hospital in Salt Lake City, Walter Reed National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, and the Lawton Indian Health Services hospital in Lawton, OK. Following his training, Dr. Anderson joined the First Eye Care team and practices full-scope optometry as a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. His primary interests are primary care, ocular disease, contact lenses, and pediatrics.
Dr. Anderson is a member of the Texas Optometric Association as well as the American Optometric Association. In his free time, he enjoys serving in his church, spending time with his wife and three kids, rock climbing, cycling, and sports in general.
Parisa Foroutan O.D was raised in Plano and attended the University of Texas at Dallas where she received her degree in Biology. Dr. Foroutan received her optometric training at The University of Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio.
As a fourth year optometry student, she interned with Neuro-Vision Associates of North Texas where she performed specialty eye exams on patients with neurological-developmental disorders, binocular dysfunctions, traumatic brain injuries, and pediatrics as well as performed vision therapy and sports vision rehabilitation. Dr. Foroutan also interned at First Eye Care where she gained experience in primary care, eye disease, and contact lenses and has now joined our team as a full-scope therapeutic optometrist and glaucoma specialist.
